Pages 460-464 - Next week, backtracking to 462 (points c & d)
Today we pondered the question of whether or not distinct roles were present before the fall or as a result of the fall.  These indicate the roles pre-existed the Fall
a.  Adam was created first, then Eve.
b.  Eve was created as a helper to Adam.
c.  Adam named Eve.
d.  God named the human race "man" not "woman".
e.  The serpent came to Eve first.
f.  God spoke to Adam first after the fall.
g.  Adam, not Eve, represented the human race.
h.  The curse brought a distortion of previous roles, not the introduction of new roles.
i.  Redemption in Christ reaffirms the creation order.
